Tolkien LITERALLY wrote a bible of info detailing every element of his world down to the smallest detail. He conceived the entire high fantasy genre due to this.

I can't help but feel like this would work a lot better if it wasn't an Isekai, and if Frey was an actual resident of the world itself.
As it stands, it comes out like it's trying too hard to be cool and hip, which ends up making it feel like the exact opposite.

Failure to understand themes of the original, poor cinematography that copies scenes without understanding context, less diversity than the original, and a generally butchered plot. Vicious actor is dire.
