(Also Big Mama’s the best written rise villain by a LONG shot the others don’t even come close. She works alone and for her own gain, not for some abstract evil)

@SailorLuney It would be interesting if TMNT let more than one iteration exist simultaneously though. I think maybe a second movie to start off or even having older versions of them in a “no way home” style crossover could get the ball rolling for Nickelodeon to consider such a possibility.

@JohnsonIsLovely I know. Over-explaining is a weird tendency I have, either as a side effect of a weird childhood or possibly just part of me being neurodivergent.

@JohnsonIsLovely I never played with action figures or collected them growing up. I watch tmnt for the plot. And only got into TMNT at 19 in 2023. (I grew up without cable until I was in sixth grade) And depending on when it was released I might be too young to remember (born Dec. 2003)

But overall I do agree that it’s a weird pattern with the movies, and also that it’s in a weird place where the movie iteration is the only iteration, because they decided to make the next tmnt show a movie tie in instead of keeping it seperate like with 2012 and bayverse.

It’s possible that Baxter Stockman may have stole research from Cynthia Utrom since she chased him down in 2008 for some reason. And Cynthia Utrom is probably this iteration’s Krang since her last name is Utrom meaning she might be a certain Utrom named Krang.

The bayverse had a missed opportunity to complete the hair color swap and make Casey a redhead since April now had dark hair.
