After reports of a slowdown in June #inflation, anticipation grew for the U.S. central bank to reduce rates in Sept. Both Nasdaq and the Dow Jones recorded gains on Thursday, and the #crypto economy rose by 0.63% in the last 24 hours. The price of one ounce of fine #gold climbed above the $2,400 mark to $2,416 per ounce. On Thursday afternoon, CME’s Fedwatch Tool indicated an 84.6% probability of a 25 basis points rate cut during the Sept. Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting. The increased likelihood, as shown by the CME Fedwatch Tool, follows Citi analysts' predictions that the Federal Reserve will cut the federal funds rate by 200 basis points over the next eight meetings starting in Sept.
