So my 17-year-old son Hunter, aka the Beast, posted this video of us goofing off today at the gym. I am very proud of him; however, he needs to realize that, while he has a higher peak bicep, he's 43 years younger than I am. He's picking on a 60-year-old lol. #Screwcerebralpalsy

Having a family and children is one of God's most precious blessings. As I gaze at my two boys, I wonder where the years have gone and who these two strong men are, standing before me. I cherish countless memories throughout the years, I wish that time would graciously slowdown!

Hardin-Simmons University's Champions weekend was a great night! As usual, I came home with a few goodies; this year I won an autographed football, a helmet, and a jersey with his new number, 33. Every time I'm around Justin, he amazes me at the young man he has grown into.

My son sent this video, which makes me very proud of him. The Beast has had a heck of a week with three PRs: a 455-pound deadlift, a 375-pound squat, and a 205-pound bench press. He is now part of the 1035-pound club. All this was achieved without any accommodations for his CP.

The Beast is on fire, achieving two personal bests this week as he prepares to attend the 2025 INBA PNBA WORKSHOP TEXAS on Saturday, March 22, 2025! He has successfully bench-pressed 200 pounds using both arms on a normal bench and squatted an impressive 365 pounds.

I'm ecstatic to have my oldest son home from college for spring break, and nothing compares to the joy of being with both of my boys together, cutting up at the gym. A truly blessed father getting to spend quality time with both of his boys! This makes this old man very happy!

The Beast is approximately four months out from “The 2025 Prestigious INBA PNBA MR & MS USA in TEXAS on July 5th.” He is working diligently and putting in extra effort to develop his affected left arm, and it's truly inspiring! He straps that left arm to the bar and makes it work

At three years old, the Beast underwent gastroc release surgery on his left calf, followed by the removal of half of his quad muscles two years later, all to empower him to be able to walk. What a journey it has been - from initially struggling with a 25° hyperextension to now!💪
