February 3-7 is National School Counselor Week. This is a week to take time to thank school counselors for all they do to support schools and students. We are so grateful for our school counselor, Ms. Nicolle MacIntyre, for all she does at TEC!

Grade 7 Immersion students, Blake, Sam, Anthony and Alistair did China for the culture projects and thanks to Blake’s family, shared some delicious Chinese food with their class and even with our principal, Mr. Austen! We love China King! 🇨🇳

Grade 6 Immersion student, Alexis, presented on the culture of the United Kingdom today and served tea to her classmates! 🇬🇧

Grade 8 immersion students (Julia and Rebecca) with their presentation on Égypte 🇪🇬They recreated one of the traditional games played there and students got to play it in class!

Mme MacLellan’s primary/one immersion students started a math unit in addition this afternoon! They had fun figuring out to write addition sentences by playing a game.

Mr Ryan helped to get Mrs Burke’s grade 4/5 class set up for “Building Thinking Classrooms” for their math unit on Area and Perimeter! Great collaboration between peers!

Mrs Burke’s Grade 4/5 class had a book tasting event, called Starbooks! Mrs Burke created a Starbooks cafe and students sampled new books, then decided if they would like more than a taste of any of them. Everyone enjoyed cupcakes & chocolate milk #SRCEForTheLoveOfLiteracy2025
