Well, unfortunately Lady Luck was not on our side this week. Despite today’s win, our World Series tournament has come to an abrupt end. We lost a three team tiebreaker by 3 runs allowed. That and a team getting a third win via a 6th pool game when all others only played five 🤔

Baseball can be a cruel game & today it was especially cruel. Cards take two losses @MSBL_National 25+ World Series with first loss being 13-3 to rival Denver. Second game went 6-5 in favor of good Cleveland team. At 1-3, Cards face must win game at Hohokam Stadium in the AM.

Cards drop night cap 9-8 to very good L.A. Legends team. Always a good battle when our two squads clash. Too many runs given away and a couple brutal calls by the umps ended up being the difference.

Stone & Kemper pitched well in relief to give the offense a chance. Heath led attack going 3-5, 2RBI, SB. Hull 2-5, 2B, RBI, 3R, 2SB, HBP. B. Nelson 2-4, RBI, R, BB. DeLapaz with 2 hits, SB & BB as well.
