Folks like this were crying about "CRT 🤪" when Black American history was being taught in schools. My maternal grandma & her siblings picked cotton, & she was born in 1938. My paternal grandparents were Sharecroppers. My father (born in 1963) also did some sharecropping as a kid

I was born in 1977. My mother was born in 19XX (I’m not picking that fight) and picked cotton through high school in the 1950s. Y’all really don’t know Black folks, do you?
@DiscussingFilm What? I don’t believe that. He was born in 78. His dad maybe was born in the 40’s at the earliest. Who was still picking cotton in the 40’s and 50’s.
