I told people that the US ruling class' manager group were using the video game and internet community as a guinea pig for the systems they want to deploy. Now we are here in the aftermath with people barely remembering how that shit really went down.
It really is insane that Donald Trump becoming president twice and the entire system in which the Democratic Party functioned with and relied on for decades was ripped apart can all be tied back to fucking video game journalism in 2014. Like that’s crazy

Lot of people will get so indignant at language/framings because they fail to recognize that there are so many things we have to combat. You must help people materially if you want to win them over. You must defend what you build with militancy as well.

@AeolusDrift @DDemon96 @lion_paw24 Me who has for almost a decade or more said we must discard these organizational statuses and move to using LLC instead so as to be able to develop the organizational power across the board we need with legal protections.

@FalcoMoloko @lion_paw24 There are valid criticisms to be made of the SRA but they are doing a lot more of the proper kind of work than a lot of our electorally focused orgs like the DSA. Highlighting that fact and pointing people toward the right kind of work is what we need to be doing.
