Delighted to have joined the AU High-Level Retreat in Abidjan, focusing on preventive diplomacy & mediation in Africa. Key discussions on multilateralism, the UN Charter & inclusion of youth in political processes topped the agenda.

Imperative discussion on the current peace and security devts in the HoA at the IGAD trilateral meeting yesterday in Djibouti. Sweden is pleased to sign a new grant agreement to support IGAD’s peace & security initiatives. We are committed to fostering stability in the HoA.
On the margins of the trilateral meeting with the IGAD Committee of Ambassadors, Secretariat, and Development Partners, IGAD Executive Secretary, H.E. @DrWorkneh, signed a grant agreement with the Government of Sweden to support IGAD's peace and security initiatives. In Dilla, South Ethiopia, where 🇸🇪 and partners 🤝 support the hospital 🏥with resources to help boost health service provision and health outcomes. Similar support will be provided to facilities elsewhere in the region.
