The Harsh Reality for Small Charities Running a small charity is like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in the bottom. You pour your heart, soul, and every available resource into the cause, but without regular funding or institutional support, the struggle never ends. Unlike large charities that receive grants, corporate partnerships, and government backing, small charities are left to survive on sporadic donations, sheer determination, and the goodwill of volunteers. The irony? These small organizations often achieve far more with far less—working efficiently, avoiding unnecessary overheads, and ensuring every penny actually benefits those in need. Yet, they are the ones that constantly face the risk of shutting down. One of the biggest challenges small charities face is the expectation that they should give endlessly—free advice, free resources, free services—while receiving little to no support in return. Businesses and individuals often turn to small charities for guidance, information, or connections but offer nothing back to keep those charities afloat. It’s exhausting to keep giving when the charity itself is on the brink of survival. Meanwhile, we watch large charities waste eye-watering amounts of money—on excessive admin costs, bloated salaries, and marketing campaigns that achieve little beyond brand recognition. It’s frustrating, even disheartening, to see millions poured into flashy initiatives while grassroots organizations, working on the frontline, are left scraping for the basics. If you value the work of a small charity, don’t just take from them—support them. Donate, volunteer, or even just share their message. Every little bit helps to keep these essential organizations alive. Without them, so many vital services will simply disappear. Small charities don’t need sympathy—they need action. Every penny that we receive can be the difference between someone keeping their limb, or their life. YOUR PENNY COUNTS! You can support our efforts through Buymeacoffee or via other donation links found on our website. Prevail is a US 501c3 and Ukrainian NGO supporting medical and mine clearance operations and training across Ukraine.

As the chairman, i have said what i can on this matter. However, at this point, can you please stop using my posts as your sounding board? You had an option to reach out privately with this information as well. Instead, you have decided to use my private account as a extension of your views, opinions, knowledge.

@GaytheonTech @FoyRees @Harri_Est Growing accusations at either of us without offering any proof doesn't exactly do much though. So look at that from my side.

@FoyRees @Harri_Est You are throwing accusations without sharing any proof. What do you expect me to do?

@FoyRees I can see that you have some opinions of Harri. I will point put to you that we never asked to be donated a jammer. This was offered, out of the blue, without joint fundraising etc. I hope you feel better after your messages, however, I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve. And yes, we are a 501c3 that has to spend a lot of time trying to help cover costs. I just don't see what your point is by calling people pedophiles etc. So, unless you have some proof, expect to be blocked from further conversation
