The Russian dictator's statement to President Trump that he "wants to see people stop dying" runs contrary to the 1,260 aerial bombs, 750 attack drones, and more than 10 missiles of various types that Russians poured onto the people of Ukraine this week.
This week alone, Russia has launched over 1,260 aerial bombs, nearly 750 attack drones, and more than 10 missiles of various types against our people. Russia’s military production, which enables such terror, relies on three key factors: sanctions evasion schemes, without which Russia would lack critical components; high oil prices, which should rightfully be lowered; and an insufficient number of our long-range missiles and drones. We are grateful to all partners who are strengthening sanctions, but more global efforts are needed to decrease Russia’s oil industry capabilities. We will continue to expand the production of our missiles and drones – and we urge all partners to invest in Ukraine’s defense industry, because these are investments in the protection of life.

@kajakallas Ukraine firmly supports our partners in breaking ties with Russia. We should further dismantle Russia’s grip on our future!

In a final casting off of the vestiges of the dark ages, today the good people of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have severed electricity-grid connections to neighbouring Russia and Belarus. With this dark chapter closed, only the brightest future lays ahead, we congratulate our Baltic friends on a job well done!

With some having endured over two years in Russian captivity, today another 150 of our heroes have returned home. Comprised of defenders from Ukraine's Naval Forces, Air Force, Airborne Assault, Ground Forces, Border Guard, National Guardsmen and Police, a monumental day as our protectors rejoin long-missed family and friends. Welcome Home!!
