🔶It was another busy week as #MidDunbartonshire's MP, meeting with groups and championing causes important to our community.

🌳Was great to meet with the @BDA_Dietitians to discuss their campaign for the Government to develop a UK-wide food strategy that centres #sustainability, accessibility and health.

Last week I met with @1stepsnutrition who focus on encouraging healthy diets for children up until the age of five. They have a number of excellent resources to support parent's with their children's nutrition

#PulmonaryFibrosis is a life changing condition, with thousands of people in the UK receiving a diagnosis every year. I was pleased to have the opportunity this week discuss with @ActionPFcharity the valuable research they do to help those affected to live well for longer.

🍎Sustainable food systems are becoming more important as we move to prevent #ClimateChange & protect our environment. I was interested to chat with Sustainable Food Places about the importance of prioritising accessibility to healthy food which allows our environment to thrive.

I was very proud to represent Mid Dunbartonshire last week at a reception in Buckingham Palace, where I had the opportunity to meet His Majesty as well as spend some time with my fellow newly-elected MPs.

If these stations must close, alternative provision must be made for police officers, particularly in the west of Mid Dunbartonshire, so that they can continue to do their jobs effectively. (3/3)

It is a decision they should immediately reverse. Doing so would also help our excellent local post offices to do their jobs, providing services and assistance for many, including some of the most vulnerable people in our community. (2/2)

Mid Dunbartonshire voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU in 2016 and we value the importance of working across borders to address common concerns, a customs union with the EU would be very welcome in our community. (4/4)
