This [piss-taking] song taught me how much white people didn't get it - any of it. "Get laid back with your bad self - one time!"

@Wayno90344771 You should have a look, especially if you're planning to self publish. The indents, the margins, the spaces; your 41 pages are now reduced to 30 - seriously reducing printing costs.

@Wayno90344771 It's done 9" x 7" (put a cheque in the post). Published novels are *justified*. When the software attempts to align the margins your two spaces become three, four or five. Your pages appear with big gaps as semi-toothless vagabonds.

@Wayno90344771 Give me an hour. I'll show why the 2 space thing is problematic.

@Wayno90344771 You're doing the 2-space thing - quit it. The reason I think I'm good. . . Objectivity, the customer never gets the answer to the needy question. Whether or not I *liked* it is irrelevant.

I was cleaning today. I found an old USB drive down the back of the sofa - It's 64MB! The Bad: Only good enough for about 10 minutes of video. The Good: It still works - they don't make shit like they used to.

@KateHalena Keep those thoughts out . This is the problematic effect of *entertainment* literature. You're not responsible for the reaction of others. What if a time traveller went back & killed Hitler? What if I wrote a novel: a time traveller killed Trump? What if a reader actually did?

@dmagillwrite Your free speech issue & your Constitution are problematic. Did you know if you take all the legal fees out of your GDP it's smaller than Europe's.

@scriblotta It's 99% baseline talent. Practice every day, you'll never run faster than Usain Bolt, you'll never swim faster than Michael Phelps, you won't out-sing Aretha, Whitney or Paverotti.

@LindaMeadWrites I totally disagree. I hardly watch movies any more - they're too short. The length is related to interactions. A movie has 2 primaries + 2 secondaries. 2 x 2 = 4. A series may have over 4 primaries + 4 secondaries - 16+ interactions.

@bernardtjoy All I'm saying: I have an opening chapter written by a person who has never read a book. It would blow most of the stuff I've critiqued away. It's explosive, dynamic, the pace varies. The split in POV is almost unique. It's fresh, hard to spot an influence.

@The_Elmerian What's your favourite musical genre? Listen to Usher: Much of it is about male emotional issues. - U Make Me Wanna. - U Remind Me - My Boo Are particularly insightful.

@StoniAstley It shouldn't but it does. Irony: author are terrific liars, the more believable your lies the better story-teller you are. But when readers discover the compelling story: "Niggaz in the Hood" was written by Mavis, a 68-year old white grandmother from Maine - they feel cheated.

@onealwalters I can't recall which famous writer said this, maybe Vonnegut or Wilde, but I agree. Paraphrased: I don't [content] editing, what if I cut out out the parts others may like?
