Rudo is just a kid. A kid who never got the chance to be content in his life, and we are witnessing his growth and path to betterment. Learning and moving on from your mistakes is never easy, especially when your life has been a constant struggle. Rudo is beautifully written.

Urana's portrayal of Rudo's inner struggles can be relatable to a lot of people. No path to betterment is an instant success, rather, it can be a constant fight to pull yourself out of your own personal hell.

He still held onto Regto's words, attempting to try and reason with someone using his mind instead of his fists. (Which this time didn't fully work out.). But there was an effort to try. Which is something he kept striving to do after spending a fair bit of time in the Abyss.
