One of my personal recommendations: I always buy the official ASE practice test and take that before signing up for an actual test! Your score to help determine if you're ready, and you can guarantee that some of those questions (or similar) will be on the actual test!

Chris makes an excellent point: you are only given a certain amount of time for each test, so don't waste it pondering a question that you truly don't know. Go through the entire test and answer all of the Qs that you know first, "flag" the ones you're uncertain of, then go back!

I ❤️ this tip by utderby007 on IG! So true: you HAVE to learn ASE "lingo"! I made myself a "dictionary" while I was studying. There's a HUGE difference between "rapping" and "tapping" when describing engine noises. What about y'all? What ASE words are in your study dictionaries?

Answers to last week's questions! 1) D, neither. The lower rad hose contains the spring, and you replace the thermostat when it's faulty (according to ASE) though I tend to replace them with timing belt and water pump jobs, thus, every 90k minimum is accurate for me personally 😉
