Being top for 76 days out the season and not winning it could be considered by some a bottle. It’s not as cut and dry as Arsenal fans like to make out in terms of you vs City. At crucial times in the season you bottle it. (Villa at home and Bayern in the UCL)

Again if you watch football “with your eyes” you’d know that Villa play with the RB tucked in essentially as a 3rd CB and it’s the LB who bombs forward. So he might be a RB on the team sheet but he is essentially a 3rd CB.

Arteta stuck to 4-2-3-1. He had a style and an identity. Improved the likes of Smith-Rowe and Saka to some of the best players in the league. Gerrard can’t find a formation, style or identity and hasn’t improved anyone bar Ramsey. From what I’ve seen, he’s a truly awful coach.

Not sure how reliable the source is but always seemed like a longshot. Playing with his brother for his boyhood club at 20 I’m sure he feels he could stay there for another couple of seasons and be in a position to then move to a top UCL club. I like the ambition from us tho.

TBF I see Durans point of view more so than I ever did Carney’s. He’s a starter for his country. He’s shown that when you give him minutes he scores goals. And he also probably knows he’s behind Watkins who rarely misses a game. Annoyingly i see him flying as the number 9 there.
