Another big update: zines are here! We've also received proofs for the holo print and polaroid. Both have been approved, so we should receive the rest of the batch, along with the postcards, shortly!

Good news - our first batch of merch has arrived! All prints (including the postcards, polaroids, and holo prints), as well as the zines themselves, are expected to arrive by the end of the month. We will keep you updated as we receive more items!

On behalf of the mod team, we want to apologize once again for the wait and lack of communication, and thank you all for your patience. Please feel free to reach out to us via DMs or our email (summerdayszine@gmail.com) if you have any further questions or concerns.

I will be taking over Goat’s former duties, including purchasing, packaging, and shipping zines and merch. As we will need to reorder all items, and it is currently a busy time of year for shipping, this may take a few months.

At the bare minimum, all contributors will receive a physical copy of the zine, and merch artists will also receive the item(s) they created. Mods will be forgoing zines and merch, or paying for it themselves.

All that being said, the remaining team members have discussed our next steps, and we are finally able to provide you with the clear, transparent update you all deserve.

I, personally, also want to emphasize that the rest of the mod team - Rac, El, Darth, and Beka - have done stellar jobs in their roles, and none of this is their fault. They have all been lovely to work with, and have done everything in their power to keep this zine afloat.

This is not a callout post, and we do NOT condone any harassment towards anyone involved.

To be clear, we cannot say for certain why we have lost access to the PayPal account. Also, while Goat’s actions are not acceptable, it's not our place to accuse him of foul play - as we have been left in the dark, we can only provide the objective facts as provided above.

Additionally, the rest of the team has been locked out of our PayPal, which stored all profits meant to fund the zine’s production.

To make a long story short, our shipping and finance mod, Goat, has abandoned their mod duties. They have ignored all attempts at communication, via both the zine Discord server and direct contact.

I wish I could be bringing you all a better update, but we feel that everyone involved in this project - contributors, buyers, and all who have supported us - deserves full transparency regarding the current situation.
