Elections do matter. The Community Library Network Board of Trustees voted to withdraw from the American Library Association.
If you want change in the CDA library you need to vote for new faces on the CDA city council.
I’m at a University of Idaho math competition for high school students. The student part seemed good. They gave the teachers some articles on math that are 🧐. Did you know that equity in math is important?Did you know that your ancestors can affect your ability to do math?
🤣🤣
@brandendurst
In my opinion you missed a reason why some of us supported getting rid of a March election time. Personally, I’m tired of school districts being able to push bond and levy votes 4 times a year. Their ability to do that in March is gone. Up next get rid of August.
@brandendurst
The FOP in kootenai county is coming after me for pointing out that they consistently endorse RINOs and they don’t telll you how they decide on endorsements.
What a surprise! A "union" supporting RINOS. (sarcasm intended) NIR seems to be the group of people who are sour grapes about not getting their way. I see a whole bunch of people on this list that were/are for mask mandates, more government, higher taxes, etc.
Here is Idaho GOP Secretary Marie Nate testifying against moving the President Primary every four years from March to May.
Notice how Idaho Senator Winder goes off topic again yet he is not asked to stay on topic by the committee chair.
Sitting in on Idaho GOP executive committee session at the summer convention at the CdA resort. We already have drama from a man that is objecting the agenda, etc. It seems like every time Dorothy Moon talks this guy objects. 🙄 (Trent Clark)
@IdahoStatesman
Your article title is factually incorrect. There hasn’t been a republican caucus since 2012. So it’s impossible to have the lowest turnout in at least a decade.
Perhaps you meant to say primary?
@stopidahorinos
IYR and IWR don’t have leadership/representatives that are elected by the voters. It made sense for them to not have a vote.
Big difference between elected and appointed.
Silly potato!
Approximately 300 people showed up to encourage our elected officials to vote no on a traffic management center that would invade our privacy.
Traffic management can be done without a data collection center. Thank you to all of you who prayed, send emails, or attended.
An objection happened. Not sure why. The person objecting can’t speak due to not being a delegate or alternative. Tyler Hurst is the person objecting. 🙄
@IdahoSpeaks
I heard that it was after he was asked about his Kootenai rants videos that smear local people he doesn’t like.
He supposedly said that his videos are personal and have nothing to do with his campaign. 🤣🙄
The first thing the Idaho House of Representatives does during the special session is to deal with Rep. Giddings.
Didn't they say that the session was to deal with the vaccine mandate from the federal level?
Leslie Duncan addresses the threat to the Republican party in a question about a Kootenai County commissioner candidate wanting to wipe the slate clean of sitting Precinct Committeemen within the KCRCC.
Ranked choice voting, water wars in southeast Idaho, and buses of illegal immigrants in Boise - those are the issues highlighted by Dorothy Moon.
During the executive committee meeting at the Idaho GOP summer convention.
@MarySouzaIdaho
Luke Russell is a never trumper. You were pro mask mandates and mandated jabs. Where did the tea party Mary sousza go? I prefer her to your newer sour grapes self.
Amy is a well-educated homeschool mom that found problems in the Post Falls library 3 years ago. She was disappointed at how inappropriate the children's books were. She started seeking out positive books, but these books were often in remote libraries.
There is a meeting tomorrow at the Coeur d'Alene Casino hosted by the Department of Homeland Security.
Guess what, no cameras and no media allowed.
Is anyone surprised that the federal government doesn't want to be transparent?
@DHSgov
Nina gave public comment at the 3/13/23 meeting of the Coeur d'Alene School District Board of Trustees. She expressed concern about the board not following current law or the Constitution.

There are so many reasons to not wear a mask. Not caring about others is not one of them. Empathy has nothing to do with making a different health choice than you. This is not a one size fits all situation.
Public talking about how Idaho needs to be less reliant on federal tax dollars is not a reason to threaten elected officials with removal from committee.
I suggest let him know that a difference in opinion is not a reason to remove someone.

Idaho State Senator and

member Glenneda Zuiderveld wrote a newsletter criticizing special interest power in Idaho with this meme of RINO Senate Pro Temp Chuck Winder.
He then removed her as Vice Chair of the Health and Welfare Committee.
RINOS are thin skinned.
Listened in on a convo with the head of Idaho Republican women. She was giving more context to why Trent Clark was objecting. Dues were an issue, and also Idaho GOP not seating people from Bingham county because that would enable someone else to be chair besides Dorothy Moon.
H603, prohibiting state government agencies from donating or sponsoring private events (like pride parades), passes on a party line vote.
You know exactly what Democrats want to use your tax dollars for.

Facebook has updated what content they allow and don't allow.
"We don't allow content that threatens the dignity of people."
This concerns me because it is so subjective.
