All this week we are hosting the Safe Haven exhibition by Harwich @KT_memorial The exhibition explores the story of Leslie Brent who arrived in Harwich as one of nearly 10,000 children sent to safety in Britain on the Kindertranport during WW2.

I'm giving a talk about the homes of the poor c. 1670-1870 at @SuffolkArchives on 5 December. At the talk, you will have the opportunity to see some unique and fabulous paintings held at the archive which I've used in this research. Come along if you can!

Today @UniofSuffolk and @SuffolkArchives have been celebrating 200 years since the founding of the @Ips_Institute in 1824. The Ipswich Institute provides a programme of talks, courses and trips as well as a wonderful town centre library available to members.
