At the newsstand now. While on the pricey side (like almost everything on the newsstand today), Haunted West is a thick volume with no ads, full of two page write ups on lore of the Old West that can be digested in quick bites. Lots of pictures.

Time for the Sunday Funnies part of the show… this was a project I left back in October, a large collection of papers, dailies and Sundays, from The Cincinnati Enquirer. Here are two daily sheets, both in great condition, and now preserved for posterity. The first is from Thursday, July 12th, and the second is from Saturday, December 15th, both 2018. These sheets are a stiff, almost card stock like paper. I’m not sure if this is how they were when they were published, or if the collector did something to try to preserve them. Quite odd, and the first time I’ve encountered this. All of the daily sheets in this collection are like this.

Good morning folks! Today is Sunday. Hope your AM is off to a good start. Not bad here but wet outside, and the roads are slick, so now that I’m back at home base I plan on staying here awhile. This is Dell Comics’ Edgar Rice Burrough’s Tarzan #67, from the 1948 series. This issue hit the news stand in September of 1955. Have a great day, everyone. I’ll be back in a bit to check in with some Sunday Funnies. 😬

Disney historians should follow this guy. These types of accounts are important.
This Thanksgiving story comes from a 1962 Little Golden Book anthology. I can't find where it originates from but it APPEARS to be a magazine story. This book remained in print until the early 2000's but in 1992 the book was revised & this was among the purged stories.
