Sometimes language learning is NOT all 🌸🌸 and ✨✨ bcs you can actually learn easily one language and another super super slow. You think you don’t progress or you don’t do enough but that’s not true! You just need time, take as many time as needed.

Sometimes you struggle to learn a language. Sometimes you feel you don’t improve, that you are stuck learning it but in the end with time,patience and consistency you can reach everything you want. In summer 2022 I was really stuck trying to learn N5 (and A2) now B1 and N3 🫶🏻🌸💗

I’m focusing on mandarin chinese & japanese till January 2024 bcs exam season is approaching 👀 honestly, I’m so so SO happy with these two languages 🤍 I don’t care about the slow process of improving them, I’m happy that I have consistency, I make mistakes and I correct them💗

Recently I started reading 你是我的荣耀 and somehow I find it easy to read! 🥰 There’s still unknown words but someday I will learn them and keep progressing on my language path 💗 so far I’m extremely happy that in 2 years I’m studying chinese I’m able to do such things🤍

Sometimes for your own good, for your mental/physical health, you need to make a pause from studying or doing what you have to do. Please don’t blame yourself for it and don’t feel sorry bcs of it. You health MATTERS!! Once you recover and you feel stable again you can go back.

Who would have thought that after one year and half I would really be able to read The little Prince in chinese. I can’t believe it myself. I’m beyond emotional bcs this meant a lot to my path with chinese 🤍 Next step is a modern novel aside of a fantasy novel 💖 I DID IT YAY ❤️

As a language learner learning more than 2 languages at the same time it’s completely fine to feel you are improving in one or two languages and the rest feel like they are “stuck”. Don’t give up! Even if it’s a slowly improvement you are doing it okay 💗

I finally finished 蜜汁炖鱿鱼 ! ✨🤍 I bought it for my birthday in March and started it at the end of March. I had tons of things to do at university, lack of hype and more stuff going on. However Yesterday’s night I accomplished one of my biggest goals in 2022. I am so happy💖

My parents are always so surprised when our neighbors start speaking in mandarin & they ask me to translate to them 🤣 today the little kid was trying to play with my dog and I talked to him in mandarin! He was so surprised that he went to his dad to tell him I can speak mandarin
