@Parsnip15 @Space_Robot1 It wasn't the contractors fault mate, the system was a scam setup by the Sustainability dept to make it look like they were pushing the Green agenda. The system was changed again two years later, different bins. £m's pissed up the wall.

Nortrust should be out this coming week, the only headwind as far as I can see. #EME

@Parsnip15 @Space_Robot1 One compartment mate. I asked the contractor outright. The look on the "Sustainability Engineers" face was a picture. I went in to cut costs and it was like peeling an onion.

@Space_Robot1 @Parsnip15 🤣 Bless her It's criminal, it opened my eyes. The cost they put on a pothole is mind-blowing and hardly surprising they don't bother. Blaming central government (as rotting as they are) is like blaming your bank for how you spend your money.

@Space_Robot1 @Parsnip15 A classic example that I've been involved with...a local council spends tens of thousands hiring five different types of recycling bin through the ward only for the rubbish to be collected by same bin wagon. It's a moneygoround.
