Two years ago my then pregnant wife and I moved 2000 miles to take a job with Purdue Baseball. Everyone told us the players weren’t any good, they only won 10 games etc. Well these are those same guys finding out they EARNED a 2 seed in a NCAA Regional.

This made my day! Just about 1 year ago we had to sit in my office and tell @TreyKrause3 that he had cancer. Today he walked into practice cancer free! @theOGneard made him his custom glove a few months ago in anticipation of his return. Welcome back big man!!!!

Last January he walked into practice using a cane, but he was cancer free. Today I got to watch him throw his first bullpen since January 2020. Really looking forward to writing @TreyKrause3 name onto my lineup card!!!

During our first team meeting back in August I told these boys they would play in a NCAA regional at the end of the season. Some smiled, some rolled their eyes. They all hoped it was true. They no longer hope, they believe. They believe in themselves! @RedbirdBaseball

Breaking: MLB has suspended Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly for eight games stemming from Tuesday night’s actions against the Astros that led to the benches clearing. Kelly will appeal the decision.

Seven years ago the man on my left took a chance on an old washed up catcher. Gave me a shot as a coach on his staff. Last night we got to square off in opposite dugouts. I’ll be forever grateful for that opportunity

These cards are certainly not the ones anyone wants dealt. But we found out very quickly this fall just how competitive Trey is. There is no doubt that there are gonna be some tough days in this battle but if anybody can do it, it’s Trey. Can’t wait to get you back on the field!.

Lindsey and I could not be happier to introduce the world to little miss Hanna Luise Holm. She was born last night about 7pm. Both Lindsey and Hanna and doing great.

This is Joziah. In April, his dad was killed in a car crash on his way to work as a detective. His fellow officers didn't want Joziah to be alone on his first day of kindergarten. So they did this.

My first yr as a coach we had this skinny little freshman walk-on who was just trying to make the team. After he was drafted his junior year he was the all time hits leader at the school. Now he’s on the 40 man. Sometimes all you need is that one opportunity…. .

Redbirds Win! Our “Fall Season” is complete. Special thanks to our Admin, especially John Munn and our trainer Andrew Benning. They put in 80hr weeks for us to have our fall! Our players did an amazing job as well. 24 intrasquads! Great to see them smile on the field again!!!!
