This is really funny to me because the movie isn't even *that* bad, but Ryan Reynolds has made it his mission to shit on it so much that everyone just assumes its way worse than it really is. Would've been entirely forgotten if not for Reynolds being a tool
DC Studios tried to convince at least 5 movie stars to play Hal Jordan in ‘LANTERNS’

One of the most interesting parts of his work is what his stories say about nationalism, america and the CIA, very much at odds with what he says in real life. Would be fun to engage in that dissonance but no one seems interested in that when you can just post random screenshots
I think people are well within their rights to be critical of Tom King’s politics but I’ve never understood the seeming need to act like he’s still in the CIA. Very odd.

Cannot be overstated that 20TH CENTURY MEN is one of the best comics of the decade. At this point, it should be treated like DKR or Watchmen where everyone has to read it at least once
