Good perspective
The US and the UN stood with South Korea, and we still negotiated an armistice with N. Korea which has lasted for over 70 years. Were we rewarding N. Korea for its invasion of S. Korea? Maybe, but it ended the war and all the killing that went with it. Russia will get some of Ukraine, probably the Donbas but certainly Crimea. If the borders can be pushed back to where they were just before the invasion in 2022, that would be a major win for Ukraine. But then the hard part begins. Europe must help guarantee Ukraine's independence. That means rebuilding Ukraine's military and supplying it with enough weapons that Russia would find it extremely costly to ever invade it again. Can N. Korea invade S. Korea today? Sure. Has it? No, because they know what that would mean to their regime. The same could be true for Ukraine after the war. Russia will not be thrown out of all of Ukraine, so if you have a better solution, let's hear it.

The Rock Hall of Fame could use some common sense. They’re probably going to induct Cyndi Lauper for one album forty years ago. Meanwhile Iron Maiden can sell out any stadium they play in 2025.

Should get Musical Excellence for all bands). It’s getting better. But clearly much to still be done!
