Thank you to @dunkindonuts Joy in Childhood Cancer Foundation for the grant that allowed our AYA program to throw our first prom. We were so happy to invite @UHRainbowBabies and @AkronChildrens to join! A magical time was had by all!
Around 100 teen patients from Cleveland Clinic Childrenās, UH Rainbow Babies and Akron Childrenās hospitals came together this weekend to dance the night away at the Enchanted Evening Dunkin Oncology Prom! An event made possible by the Dunkinā Joy in Childhood Foundation.āØ

@acweyand I have friends who are .8, most take 1 day a week off (this usually means that get paid less for the same amount of work) but one works 4 weeks and takes the 5th off. This seems like the way to do it if your department allows. You get time off that isnāt spent catching up.

The medical student chooses what specialty they want to practice, then they apply to residency programs within that specialty, then the match algorithm places them within a program within that specialty.

@ChrisWeeMD This is super interesting to me. On the peds side in our cancer patients we use cefepime (due to antobiogram and renal due fcn) but if we have an adult aged patient sometimes adult ID is consulted and they recommend zosyn- even in the same institution there can be differences.
