Kids/Parents: Be careful of Recruiting “services”. They will help anyone for enough $$. But do they care about you or even know you? Are they invested in you? If the answer is no, talk to your high school coach who already does everything they do, but doesn’t get paid for it.

Coaches get their duties done on weekend, everyone gets done what they need to on their own time, come to Monday morning film refreshed & ready to roll. Be a Dad/Husband/Kid on the weekend.

@natesportsguy We used an idea from @EPJRefs & started high school elective class called "Fundamentals of Officiating" kids learn about officiating different sports & actually try it out to see if it's something they'd like to do once they graduate. Year 1 of it, but promising so far!.
