We are European – we will never give up.
★ Regain our rights
★ Resist Brexit's effects
★ Rejoin the EU!
Polls show over 60% of British people back Rejoin
How Europe sees us... from Danish newspaper Information.
"Who Killed Great Britain? Britain is a country in economic, political and moral crisis. Information has traveled to London to look for the roots of British decay."
In this thread, a translated summary.
We are no longer Remainers. We are Rejoiners!
That's an important transition for our movement to make. We're still going to highlight the daily disasters of Brexit – but Rejoin is also about making a positive case, about a renewed Britain in the EU.
Good news!
"The inclusion of Nigel Farage for a reported £1.5million fee in the jungle looks to have backfired for I'm A Celebrity bosses as ratings plummeted once again last night."
Keep on not watching.
Some media didn't report the
#RejoinMarch
.
Some said it was "hundreds" or a few thousand.
So how big was it? Look at this photo and judge for yourself.

Remember when they invented a "Brexit opportunities minister"? The position was just abolished.
During the lifetime of the role, the total number of opportunities found was zero.
Whenever we link to the

fundraiser page, Elon Musk's X/Twitter hardly shows the tweet to anybody.
If you can see this, can you please retweet? 🙏🇪🇺
The idea that the EU has "banned" anything from the UK is literally fake news. The EU never wanted Brexit. The EU is now operating according to the Brexit deal agreed with the UK government and signed with great fanfare by Boris Johnson.
Poll after poll shows that Britain now wants to rejoin the EU.
The current polling average for Rejoin, as calculated by John Curtice's
@whatukthinks
, is 55%.
The highest figure, which is also the most recent, is 59%.
Rejoin is popular! Let's start acting like it.
People on here who think the 2016 referendum still ends the argument simply do not understand the white-hot rage of people who were too young to vote – now in their mid-20s – who had their future voted away for no reason other than a dislike of all things "foreign"
Brexiters think that we voted once, six years ago, and then the decision lasts forever.
No. That's not how democracy works.
When a policy no longer has majority support in the population, it can – it must – be reversed.
"I want to address the Brexit-shaped elephant in the room. A Brexit which is shrinking our economy, limiting opportunity for our citizens and our young people - and it's emboldening the worst in us."
As anyone who has ever seen the inside of a supermarket will know, meat and dairy was labelled "British", complete with flags, while we were EU members.
We will NOT be paying for a blue tick.
But that will reduce our visibility over time.

"A retired chip shop owner has been ordered to leave the UK after living in Leicester legally for more than 40 years.
Leonarda Zarcone, 74, is a French citizen who applied for EU settled status after Brexit."
She missed an email in her junk folder.
Labour won't lose the next election by annoying people who voted for Brexit more than a decade prior. A lot of them regret it anyway, or no longer care.
It *will* lose the election if it can't get the economy growing.
And the road to economic growth runs through the EU.
"Emily Thornberry has indicated that she intends to use her powerful new position in the Commons to push Keir Starmer to go further on undoing the harms of Brexit."
(Report from the Labour Movement for Europe rally)
You can change prime ministers four, five, a hundred times but none of them will ever be able to fix Brexit – because it is unfixable.
The only answer is to tackle the root cause, and Rejoin.
Brexit is like getting on a train and then realising it's going in the wrong direction.
There's no shame in getting off the train and heading back the way you came.
Brexiters are still running around saying that rejoining the EU would cost money.
Rejoining the EU would restore £100 billion to the economy. There is a 'membership fee' but it's small by comparison. We come out way ahead.
When we rejoin the EU, the hard times will finally end.
🎉 We have now reached 150,000 supporters! 🎉
UK citizens are losing our European citizenship because of Brexit. Stay European is the campaign for an EU associate membership scheme that would give us the option to continue as EU members as individuals.
"We had a vote 8 years ago" really isn't the winning argument you think it is.
"We had a vote 9 years ago" will be worse.
"We had a vote 10 years ago" will be worse.
And so on.
No one born this century voted for Brexit, and that gets more absurd with each passing year.
Just spent 45mins on the phone with this guy…
This is Jovan
He joined Labour at 17
He saw his midwife mum work all hours
He saw sure start centres close & inequality rise
He now finds himself up against Farage
Please support him:

Vaccination is not a contest between nations. Each coronavirus vaccine has been developed by a team of scientists from around the world.
You can't stop a pandemic in one country alone. It's not about being 'world beating', it's about the world beating the virus.
"Nigel Farage’s dangerous comments cannot be left to fester. He is the voice of the EDL in parliament, using his platform to spread fear and misinformation... we need urgent action from the Commons standards committee and the police"
– Kim Johnson MP
Some people say Brexit is like shooting yourself in the foot. Not quite.
Brexit is like building a machine that shoots you in the foot every morning. You could dismantle the machine at any time. But you choose not to, because dammit, you made a choice 7 years ago to build it.
Farage not standing
Gove not standing
Leadsom not standing
Johnson not standing
The Brexiters know exactly how unpopular they are and exactly how unpopular their Brexit is.
"In 2019, the BBC obediently covered Nigel Farage’s pitifully attended Leave Means Leave march as it set off from Sunderland, but the 20,000-plus on the Rejoin March through central London over the weekend were not acknowledged at all"
The first National Rejoin March was a resounding success.
Up to 50,000 people from all corners of the country gathered to kick off the Rejoin movement – a turnout that surpassed our highest expectations.

Gen Z leads drive to reverse Brexit:
"Strikingly, support for overturning the UK’s decision to cut its ties with Brussels among Generation Z – who were too young to take part in the 2016 referendum – is by a two-to-one margin."
Missed the start of the

Don't worry – head to Westminster tube station and catch the rally in Parliament Square from 3pm, with these great speakers and more! 😃
"Perhaps that's why Jacob Rees-Mogg and Rishi Sunak still talk about Britain as if it were at the head of a global superpower. It is not their children who are getting shorter and they have never stood in line at a food bank."

"Keir Starmer will visit Brussels next week for talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about 'resetting' Britain’s relationship with the EU."
Let's make this Saturday's Rejoin march huge, to show what the British people want.
'I will not allow a foreign court to stop these flights.'
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he is prepared to do 'what is necessary to get flights off to Rwanda'. He adds that other European governments are following the UK's lead.

Brexit is already finished as a political project.
What we're living with now is the hangover from that mistake, and politicians' fear of riling up the dwindling band of xenophobes.
Like with the riots, the way to win is to stop pandering and show that we are the majority.
A bit more history, through the 20th century and Thatcher. Britain has not come to terms with its place in the world.
Former Danish finance minister: "There are two types of nations in Europe. Small nations and countries that have not yet realized that they are small nations."
The
#RejoinEU
campaign is about to move up a gear.
Here's the plan:
At the election, get the Brexiters OUT and as many pro-European candidates as possible IN.
After the election, day one, we all pile on the pressure for Rejoin!
Retweet if you're with us.
Police just served an order on me and banned me from every street around Whitehall and Parliament. Apparently 2 people complained. Probably Rishi Sunak and his wife.
We are European. None of us voted to stop being European, none of us consented to losing our European citizenship. That's why we want to keep associate EU membership, as individuals.
Anytime we do a viral tweet criticising Brexit, people stop seeing our tweets for a while.
Will you 💙 and RT to help us get back into the algorithm's good books?
