SCPD had the pleasure of meeting Elaina and supporting her lemonade stand today. It was a great interaction and gave officers the opportunity to connect with our residents in Harris Township.
Today, several officers received awards recognizing their exemplary skills and training. These awards included Department Commendations, Life Saving Awards, and Medals of Valor.
Lane restrictions on Atherton & Beaver around the Atherton/Beaver intersection will still be in place Saturday. Expect extreme congestion during the morning. People attempting to get to their "W" parking spots from the west and south should expect considerable delays.

Chief John Gardner & Lt. Greg Brauser were among the graduates of the 20th class of first responders to complete Crisis Intervention Team Training in Centre County. CIT instructor Lt. Chad Hamilton was a coordinator & presenter. 385 participants have completed the training.
