My mentee asked me what to do when a client upgrades or adds services DURING the booking (& how to make sure she gets the money later) Say “Yes, I would love to do that. And let’s take care of the extra business for it later. I really like it when you…” Basically, you want to: - Stay in mode, and not break the vibe - State there is further business to attend to for that upgrade, but not get into it now - Immediately move attention back to the experience, and excite the client - so their mind doesn’t linger on money In my experience, few clients create problems about the money later. For the rare circumstance where it does happen, say “John I know a gentleman like you wouldn’t want to disrespect a girl like me by not settling your fee for the intimate service I just provided.” We are utilising the age old ingrained sentiment of male proprietary behaviour - it almost always works. If and when it doesn’t, ask them to leave and never see them again. Write a report. Shit happens - if it’s an outlier situation don’t ruminate over it, just move on to all your other great respectful clients.
