Dear @POTUS AN OPEN LETTER TO THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT I'd like to refer you to the case of Akkerland where the South African government seized its first white-owned farm (a vast hunting reserve), from Johan Steenkamp and Arnold Cloete, co-owners of the Akkerland Boerdery hunting farm in the Limpopo province. They were ordered to hand over their land after talks to buy it at a 10th of the price broke down. Cyril Ramaphosa, told a farmers' conference shortly after that "land reform" was necessary to "correct a past wrong". Steenkamp and Cloete asked for 200 million rands ($20.8m) for their reserve but were only offered 20m rands ($2.08m). A letter sent to the company earlier in that year said: "Notice is hereby given that a terrain inspection will be held on the farms on April 5, 2018, at 10am to conduct an audit of the assets and a handover of the farm's keys to the state." The farm took out an urgent injunction to prevent eviction but the Department of Rural Development and Land Affairs refused his application. Steenkamp said that the decision was made on "very short notice" during a public holiday. He said he was given notice to hand the keys over to his farm within seven days. IMPORTANT: What makes the Akkerland case unique is that they were not allowed to first dispute the claim in court, as the law requires. Do not let them tell you farms are not being seized. Investigate the Akkerland case. There were allegations the mining corporation Coal of Africa may be behind the expropriation action, and that this has nothing to do with historical land reform, and everything to do with mining. @Lebona_cabonena Definitely Alfred. We are sitting on one of the most resourceful rich countries in the world! We have everything. Every province had the potential to be the jewel of Africa! Instead, our government suppresses opportunities while blaming whites for their corruption.

@MosholiAmo @EmmanuelMotelin @elonmusk You keep trying to peddle this same lie sold to you by Zuma. Do you know Zuma paid a UK PR firm to spread this lie? Here a pic from your own govt land audit. Individuals own 39% of total land. Not 72%. And not all those individuals are white. Google Bell Pottinger Campaign SA

@Lebona_cabonena They did this on purpose to divert attention away from State Capture. They used a UK PR firm called Bell Pottinger. Bell Pottinger was tasked to deliberately cause racial tensions in SA using the WMC lie. Zuma (ANC) paid sa tax payer money for this.

@GarethCliff Well said, Gareth. They allowed politicians to get away with it. Now they are surprised that there are consequences for not having any discipline. Lack of discipline, from schools, all the way to top levels of government, is a massive problem in SA. There is no accountability.

@Lebona_cabonena All these Twitter bots saying they stand with Malema. Haha. These same bots said the same thing last year prior to elections, and we know how that ended. 8.28% I remember when X was convinced Malema will be president. 🤣🤣

@MigunaMiguna You keep spreading this white wealth lie to suit your own agenda. How many South Africans don't even have a toilet and running water? Over 30 years into democracy and you peddle bullshit about white wealth. Yup. Black elite are so poor they can't even afford water to wash hands.

@Lebona_cabonena Zuma started all of this with the Bell Pottinger Campaign. He deliberately targeted whites to divert attention from Zumas state capture. Malema and Zuma were brothers once. Malema probably well aware of this campaign. He probably used it to gain support.

@ikumkani_1 @Rolandschoeman Don't forget this one. You cry about white having money and power while your Govt keeps enriching themselves and the black elite. You cry blacks are poor. Yeah. So poor they can't even afford water to wash their hands. This is who you voted for. For 3 decades while SA suffers.

@AvainAfrica Honestly, it will be for the better. We don't need racist emotional leaders who spew hate speech. We need accountable honest leaders who have integrity and reason. I don't care if they black or white. Just serve your country with integrity.

@darkest__peru @elonmusk I honestly don't think it will happen. And as a white South African I don't support it. I believe we can resolve our issues without creating own country. But if the WCape ever did it, with US backing, I don't believe SA Govt would be able to stop it.

@NalaThokozane @elonmusk What misinformation? Tell us which part is a lie? @Mngxitama2 is a serving member of parliament. He was sworn in last year. His political party, @MkhontoweSizwex is headed by former president Jacob Zuma. Maybe go look for yourself? Plaas Moord is Afrikaans for Farm Murder.
