Scoop: President Trump is considering allowing Japan's Nippon Steel to complete its $14.1 billion acquisition of U.S. Steel, sources told @CBSNews Approval of the transaction isn't definite, and Trump has not made a final decision, sources said. Trump has also been talking with advisers in recent days about tariffs on Japan. In the Oval Office today with the Japanese prime minister, Trump told reporters he hadn't changed his mind on the sale. He was expected to discuss the matter further behind closed doors.
