From Monday 25th September 2023, electric scooters must not be brought on board any Stagecoach service, even if the battery pack has been removed. This safety step is due to the batteries on e-scooters being a known fire risk and multiple fires occurring on UK public transport.

We proudly launched the UK’s first autonomous bus service, AB1 - the culmination of our collaborative project, CAVForth.
The buses enter public service in East Scotland on 15th May & will carry over 10,000 passengers each week.
