Joint operation with Derbyshire Police, DVSA & Datatag we examined 96 commercial vehicles at Willaston. 34 had insecure loads, 20 overweight, 5 dangerous condition, 2 tachograph offences. 1 driver without a licence, 2 using mobile phones and 2 tachograph offences. #oplightning

Driver if this 44t HGV decided to straight line this junc in Stone ignoring the keep left bollards. Despite his ability to take racing lines he failed to spot the marked police BMW that had been following him for 2 miles. We also identified the load was insecure. #oplightning
