Every school year, Lewis & Clark Career Center students from four trade programs work together to build a house that is sold to the public. Any profit derived from the sale of the house go towards materials and supplies for next year's house. Open House scheduled for June 16th.

SCW's Jeremy Jackson and his STEM class was featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch today for receiving a $10K grant from Bayer. Jackson is using the funds to purchase an aquaponics lab, drones and tech devices. Exciting story!

SCSD is mourning the loss of two students' lives from a recent tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and our Harris Elementary family. A parent led/planned vigil for the community will be held this evening at 6:45 on the front lawn of Harris.
Congratulations to SCHS wrestler Sabrina King on being crowned the state champion at 132! Sabrina, who had an amazing season with an undefeated record of 32-0, is the first SCHS state champ in wrestling since 1999 and the first girls champ in program history. Way to go Sabrina!

Our community is still hurting from the loss of Addison Zamudio, a wonderful young man who we lost too soon. As we keep his family in our thoughts this Thanksgiving, know that we will continue to support those affected in days, weeks and months to come.
During last Thursday's BoE meeting, Board members presented Dr. Sefrit with a plaque to honor his heroic actions to help save the life of an SCSD employee in August. Dr. Sefrit's actions and the willingness of other CO team members to step up during this time helped save a life.

Who's a good boy?! SCSD had our Seaman the dog statue delivered to the Benton Admin Center today. Students from SCHS and SCW will be decorating him and he will be on display in front of the building starting in April to commemorate the 250th anniversary of St. Charles.
Ashlynn Boyd and Nick Thorne were selected as the St. Charles High School Character Plus students. Both Nick and Ashlynn are outstanding students who display kindness and compassion for everyone and who truly look out for the well being of others. Great job!
