Our new friendship bench was unveiled today by the family of Catherine Booth who have donated it to our school. We have been lucky enough to be a part of the Catherine Award in our school and we are so grateful for our beautiful friendship bench🌈
Mrs Liggat and Mrs O would like to thank all of our Reception families for their kind words and generous gifts. Despite the challenges we’ve had a wonderful year and will miss the children when they move to Year 1 🥰

The Reception children visited Orrell Grange nursing home this afternoon. We had a lovely time singing our songs and we gave them a card and some decorations we had made. A special visitor came to see us while we were there. Thank you all so much for your kindness.

Today Reception should have been sharing their setting with our wonderful grandparents on Grandparents Day! Unfortunately we cannot have this special time this year, so to all of our amazing grandparents.......
The Reception children enjoyed their Big Lent Walk this morning. We went past church where we saw the statue of Mary and continued back into school finishing off by seeing all of the beautiful daffodils in our garden.

What a wonderful service this afternoon for our Year 6 leavers mass today! It was so lovely to be joined by our families and school to pray for all of the Year 6 children as they embark on their new journey to secondary school!

Reception took part in their first Quiz today. Mrs Liggat and Mrs O could not believe what we remembered. We were all super stars! St George was the winning team, but we had to go to a tie-breaker to get a winner. You are amazing Reception!
