@BoneJointDoctor @vivekortho007 We use an IO kit similar to the one demonstrated in the video. Yes I have only used it in adult, but I think it is reasonable to use in children as well.

@BoneJointDoctor @vivekortho007 We use IO access in unstable trauma patients if we are unable to get peripheral IV within 2 attempts. As time is of the essence I don't know if a Trucut biopsy needle is practical. Also we typically place a central line after resuscitation is complete.
