In March 1726, architect John Vanbrugh was buried at St Stephen Walbrook church in London, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Vanbrugh’s remarkable legacy includes not only Blenheim Palace & Castle Howard, but many other iconic works that defined Baroque architecture in England.
