Today we said goodbye to our P5 teacher Mr Baillie who is going to Australia for a year! Mrs Shedden has kitted him out with some Scottish gifts including a hat, t-shirt and even a Scottie Dog! Good luck from all at SPS Mr B and we look forward to hearing about your adventure!

An emotional afternoon for our wee school, as we celebrated the wonderful dedication and work of our beloved Mrs McFadzean who is leaving us at the end of term. Pupils demonstrated their crafty skills in presenting her with performances and displays to show their appreciation.

Our P7’s were so excited to be starting their

transition programme with Diane, our Area Inclusion Worker. They planted spring bulbs on Friday while chatting about their thoughts & feelings on that big step up to secondary. This is the 1st of many sessions! 😊

At Springside we always try to promote active travelling to school. We hope our brilliant new bike shelter will encourage more pupils to come to school through active methods! A massive thanks to our amazing janitor Aaron for building this for us!
