Life is a tricky deal sometimes, not 25 minutes after booking my Chicago trip I received a phone call from Brooklyn. My brother Steve is gone at 51. Going to be a rough day. Hug somebody today & tell them you love them.

Fun day. My Dad came over for dinner, & we made a stand up graded card showcase that holds 48 slabs while only taking up a 30 inch row of table space. Just have to put the plexiglass on the front. Like Cerrano said in Major League "I do it myself"

I drove 14 miles from home this morning to pay my respects to one of the OG's of the hobby. Mr.Jefferson Burdick, it's hard to see due to the moss but his epitaph reads "One of the greatest card collectors of all-time". Thank you Mr.Burdick for your contributions!

Two goombas from Brooklyn. National Week made!!! Growing up in Brooklyn, Chris Mullin was MY GUY and basketball idol. Last night I got to meet him and we spoke about what street in Canarsie we both lived on. It was surreal. Wow. No I didn't cry lol.

I ordered 30 Luis Robert Topps "Game Within the Game" cards & received them 10 days ago.
Today I got 30 more, Thought I got a duplicate order, but they actually re-did them with the "RC" logo that was missing on the 1st run so we now have variations in this set & I have 60 Luis!

Why I don't get into the card "investment" debate. It's simple, there is none, I can't get in something that doesn't exist. ANY entity that brings 7 figure sales for one card is an investment entity, you may not like that,it's not arguing over bigfoot's existence. This is real.

So I'm driving out of the post office, see a women in her late 80's, early 90's laying on the ground. Stop the car, she missed a step, fell, checked her for injuries, said she was ok, needed help back to her car, she lived 5 blocks away, followed her home at her request.
