Trump also removed the Biden-appointed NLRB Chair (and the first black woman Board member), Gwynne Wilcox. Wilcox argues that her removal is "unprecedented and illegal." Her removal leaves the NLRB w/ only 2 members, 1 short of the number required to issue decisions.

As expected, Trump removed the NLRB's GC, Jennifer Abruzzo. Abruzzo issued a memo in 2021 concluding that certain college athletes are employees and have a right to unionize. She also filed a complaint in 2023 against USC, the Pac-12, and the NCAA.

This is only a preliminary ruling and the NCAA can still appeal, but the NCAA's antitrust losing streak continues. On the bright side for the NCAA, this may strengthen their case for Congressional intervention.
