@AnimeBallSnot There’s truth to both. Immigration was an issue before Trump. Ann Coulter had written a whole book on it. Trump was the first guy to really pick up an issue but the ground work was laid. Contrast this to tariffs which havnt taken off the same way since there was no demand there

@AnimeBallSnot He might be right in that it’s early but it’s also want might ruin his presidency. He wants to speed run this (and likely break something) rather than try and stabilize and have the next guy fully implement the plan. It goes back to his age.

@TheRealZBlog It must be a region thing because auditing governments and utility companies we didn’t have that big of an issue with theft, and this includes part shops. Of course, they had good inventory tracking and we often wanted clients to do Capital Asset counts.

Banning porn off a site kills it. Tumblr found this out the hard way, and, unironically, it’s one of the reason Twitter became a haven for it. Take this as wisdom from the elders

@TheRealZBlog @DissidentRight That seems to be a big problem with the US govt. The DoD hasnt been about to get an audit opinion on years and a lot of it seems to be due to outdated system. The Marines got a clean opinion when they upgraded. Wonder of some of the “fraud” claimed is just issue with legacy DBs.

@AnimeBallSnot Hopefully it’s true that Trump was upset at the low numbers and wants them up. This is the one area he should be moving fast on and will actually result in prices coming down. More critical than most of what gets floated.

When you’re talking about a 36T market and saying there is fraud, it’s time to just hire a baker

@punishedbashar @GoldTelegraph_ The people looking into this are kids right out of college and Elon who tweets all day. When I say a “crack team” I mean some with years of experience in finance, banking or fraud investigation. Right now, DOGE is a plumber trying to bake wedding cakes.
