This is a repost, but it is a lesson I learned the hard way; LESSON: If you want to write, do it NOW. Don’t give up with a lot of excuses. Querying is HARD. Self-promotion is HARD. Selling your story is HARD. But that does not mean you give up on writing! Do it now, while you still have the faculties. If you get discouraged, take a break from trying to get others interested in your work, but DO NOT give up on writing and SAVE EVERYTHING YOU WRITE! I wrote my first book at 72 years. Now I wonder if I will last long enough for a second book.

@mindfulheal I have spilled my guts! There is probably not much about me that you wouldn't see if you crawled my feed. Except maybe for my one confession.

Aimee We all have ups and downs. The fact that you feel you can share them means a lot. It is what makes social media seem more authentic. I just wrote a note to someone else about life being like a sine wave-we have ups and downs, but if the average is above the line, it is a good life.

@NatashaCL7 My daughter has a $10,000 dog. A rescue big black German Shepard. He has had 3 major operations to remove items from his stomach and digestive tract. If he can reach it, he will eat a whole bag of bread. Bag and all. Good part is, he bags his own poop.

My phone is app-less. It is a dumb flip phone. It is all I need and sometimes more than I want. I spend too much time on my computer, much less having something with me 24/7. I watch people concentraiting on thier phone in the doctors office, dentist etc. What are they doing on those phones? Working on a treaty for world peace? Entering the codes for a nuclear strike?
