@DeliciousAthena Nobody wants to spend any time or energy on how trans women have it a couple of steps worse than trans men. We want to do solidarity and mutual support. We're just stuck here because young t-guys keep having massive fits over acknowledging that small difference.

@sofiabuffgf Loving the "you've got to make transition happen" energy. Too much trans discourse is shaped by trans girls in dysphoria spirals resentfully sniping at any implication that their situation isn't some totally hopeless thing they can only make peace with and not do something about.

They just aren't reverting to your 20+ year old "you have to respect my gender because a dr diagnosed me with Womanhood" BS because we know that doesn't work either. Precious few trans people were allowed to transition under that model, and our community was tiny and fractured.

@GRUGCEL Kids nowadays are something else. They think their whole body's going to change in 6 months. Back in my day we didn't expect to be able to stop boymoding until 18 months at least.

The greatest enemy of people with severe adhd are people with mild adhd.

After living with me 6 months she's declared that I have orders of magnitude worse adhd than anything she might have. This guy has adhd-lite and just declared "welp this is as bad as it gets, y'all just lazy".

@whatifalthusser As unpleasant as that is for him we still shouldn't give people a free pass to normalise the kind of language that makes it so easy to hide transmisogyny, even if they personally don't mean it in a transmisogynistic way. There needs to be more awareness raising on the subject.

@pseudorecifinha The problem with identifying that your minority group's definitions are unhelpfully including people they shouldn't is that trying to point that out gets you associated with weird gatekeepy 'pick-me's who just hate those people.

@pseudorecifinha Ultimately cissexual enbies claiming transness aren't the cause of our problems, there aren't enough of them. They're the symptom of our activism being mediated through queer orgs that are majority c!s, and overly focussed on the validity of pre-transition identity.
