Hate to think of all the implications while people are still missing but my wife works at the port. We were talking about all the people who will be out of work. And the crews on ships that will be stuck here unable to even get off their boats. Terrible situation.

My mother passed away on Saturday. She was 85. She passed almost exactly 8 months after my father. They were married 60 years and she pretty much lost her will to live when he died and she was ready to go. She was a good woman. I'll miss her.

Baltimore is 10000% not accommodating to cars. Have you ever driven in Baltimore? It sucks. That being said, they are also not accommodating to pedestrians, bike riders, the handicapped, or any mode of transportation. Except in certain privileged places, few and far between.
Not surprising in a city so accommodating to the car that getting a crosswalk often requires communities to jump through many hoops, wait months for approvals and get the money to pay for it. Says a lot.
