@philj12010 @NotFarLeftAtAll Ever heard of a PCC? Police have not been impartial for some time now

@Kathryn07694445 @NotFarLeftAtAll The Police haven't been impartial since the implementation of Police and Crime Commissioners.

@stevenmurph65 @InspGadgetBlogs Then answer me this. Did you ever arrest someone under this act? Did you ever prepare a case file for the CPS, and if so, what was the outcome?? See, I also did the job so I too have a bit of knowledge around this.

@stevenmurph65 @InspGadgetBlogs You know where it says SUBJECT TO ANY EXEMPTION UNDER THIS ACT.. You're a bit dim aren't you.

@Protect_ServeUK As far as I'm concerned, any child that picks up a knife is now an adult, and if you threaten my child with a knife, you're getting fucked up. You lost the right to be just "a child" when you picked up a weapon

@ReflectionsFW @ASPolice And to be honest, you're more likely to deal with pretty much anything else over a firearm, especially fires. I know officers with 30+ years experience who have never seen a firearm not owned by the police

@ReflectionsFW @ASPolice And in terms of Police officers and firearms, you absolutely must wait. Waiting means nothing is happening. Nothing happening is good. You're all safe. Specialists can come along, make the weapon safe and seize it in accordance with policy and law.

@ReflectionsFW @ASPolice You're banging on about "inefficiency" and "lack of training" when, in reality, you're not a police officer & have no real idea. It is not justifiable to have everyone trained in something that they most likely won't ever use. That's why we have ARUs. That's their job. Literally.

@ReflectionsFW @ASPolice And why would we train random officers how to handle firearms when we have an entire unit dedicated to that? It is literally not needed or justifiable. Seriously 😑

@ReflectionsFW @ASPolice Less than 10k officers in England and Wales are allowed to use and handle firearms. Also, this must be forensically recovered which also means bagging up his clothes. So next time you want to pipe up, make sure you're educated on the subject.

@ThatJoshuaAllen @ASPolice I'm guessing you're a Yank, so let me educate you. It has to be done by someone authorised and trained to handle firearms, as well as forensically recovered to gain DNA for the evidence chain. Imagine someone who's untrained grabbing a gun and potentially shooting it. Think.
