Biden's Title IX rewrite emboldened universities to further restrict and regulate student speech that led to a chilling effect on campus discourse. Not only is this a HUGE win for women's equality, but for students’ fundamental right to free expression as well.
Biden's absurd Title IX rewrite is ended nationwide! "It is abundantly clear that discrimination on the basis of sex means discrimination on the basis of being a male or female... Expanding the meaning of 'on the basis of sex' to include “gender identity” turns Title IX on its head."

“The path to America’s intellectual and cultural revival runs through higher education, and charting that path requires shining a much-needed spotlight on this conversation.” - @J_Gould_ It’s time that colleges focus on promoting free speech and raising the next generation of leaders, not coddling young minds.

🚨A new report from the @GoldwaterInst has found that DEI requirements cost state universities $1.8 billion every year. Just last year, we found that two-thirds of private and public universities require DEI curriculum. Higher education needs to focus on educating the next generation of leaders, not forced DEI initiatives.

For decades, universities have coddled students and promoted censorship over intellectual diversity. @POTUS’ recent executive orders could be the first step in changing course on this trend.

.@GeorgeMasonU has walked back its censorship of two female law students who dared criticize tampons in men’s bathrooms. It’s clear that free speech is under attack when students can’t even acknowledge basic biology without being censored on campus.

It’s horrifying to hear the antisemitism that Jewish students have faced on their college campuses. Colleges’ inaction sends a clear message to the community that there won’t be consequences - is it any wonder that this behavior is still occurring?
THIS is what Jewish students have been dealing with at college 😳🎓 Welcome GAZA GRADUATION PART 2 — where we flipped the script by gathering 25 Jewish student leaders from around the US to give their testimonies on the onslaught of antisemitism they’ve faced at their universities, who mostly have ignored their cries for help. I’ve spent over a year since 10/7 uncovering the mass Jew hate on campuses around the country but even I was completely shocked by what they told me is happening. This can’t go on another day longer. The time for action is NOW ✡️👊 Do your part at elevating these kids’ stories so the world knows just what Jewish students are dealing with 🗣️ #jews #jewish #israel #gaza #universities #palestine #college #jewhate #antisemitism #news

“The student newspaper reports that a 99.5% pure monoculture dominates Cornell’s faculty and staff—creating unhealthy and grossly lopsided political alignments. An atmosphere of GroupThink breeds a professoriate which is ‘exhilarated’ by the murder of innocent Israelis and indoctrinates students with one-sided dogma.” Diversity of thought needs to be made a priority on college campuses.

🚨Brown University Medical School is prioritizing DEI over students having “excellent clinical skills”. This concerning news shows just how deeply DEI has penetrated medical education. @POTUS' executive order against DEI could not have come soon enough.

Instead of engaging in free speech and debate many college students call for censorship of those they disagree with. This kind of education creates weak leaders.
Over 100 faculty, staff, and students at ASU have signed a letter calling an upcoming event on the family featuring @maryricehasson “dangerous.” They call free speech a “guise…used by those who seek to marginalize and disempower identity groups such as those within the LGBTQ+ community.” “Colleges and universities should be spaces for the exchange of ideas and healthy debates—but not when individuals’ lives are in the balance.” “To be clear, this is not just an ideological conversation. The lives of LGBTQ+ youth and people are literally at stake.” Literally.

Last year, we found that two-thirds of major American universities require students to take DEI courses to graduate. @POTUS' executive orders against DEI is the first step. States must work to end forced indoctrination in higher education.

Last week, a group of students at @Columbia trespassed and shouted down a class on modern Israeli history, intimidated students, and committed acts of vandalism.

These protestors' antics have gotten so crazy that @Columbia's past seven press releases have been about the vandalism on campus!

‼️@WestPoint_USMA and @af_academy have both ended their “Diversity and Inclusion Studies” minors. Nature is healing.

The First Amendment protects the right to peacefully protest, not to vandalize and destroy school property. It’s time that schools like @Columbia take a stand against this unacceptable behavior.
BREAKING: Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine has announced it cemented the sewage lines of a Columbia building. These are domestic terrorists who have been intimidating and perpetrating acts of violence for over a year. Columbia must expel them now.

Cornell professor @wajacobson reminds students that their First Amendment rights don’t protect blocking entrances, taking over administrative offices, or violating schools' rules. “As soon as you enforce the rules that everybody else needs to live by, they start playing victim.”

Violent antisemitic protests and acts of vandalism stifle free speech and have no place on college campuses. @POTUS's latest EO will crack down on antisemitic protesters who broke laws and disrupted campus life.

Speech First has been on the front lines pushing back on the unacceptable rise in campus antisemitism. Many of the antisemitic protests on campuses broke laws. This EO will provide critical accountability and force necessary change in campus culture.
Trump to sign EO today on antisemitism — instructing all federal agencies to ID civil and criminal authorities available to combat it and find ways to deport anti-Jewish activists who violated laws, per @stevennelson10. "The executive order calls for the deportation of resident aliens — including students with visas — who broke laws as part of anti-Israel protests following the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel, which sparked the invasion of Gaza, the document reviewed by The Post says."

One Columbia University student is learning that storming a history class and targeting Jewish students with anti-Semitic flyers isn't "free speech." Hopefully @Columbia University will *actually* uphold this suspension - and send a clear message to other students who might want to engage in similar disruptions in the future.
