During ignition, the vehicle suffered an internal fault causing it catch alight. The fire was contained to the pad and attended to by the CFS.
No people or the environment were at risk.

Due to strong upper winds at WWOLC, the Hapith I launch has been postponed for Friday, September 10th.
Southern Launch and TiSPACE will determine a revised test launch date with the Australian Space Agency.

LAUNCH UPDATE: Today we conducted a successful pre-launch rehearsal which involved loading the vehicle with oxidiser and testing all systems.
We are now targeting no earlier than 0700 (ACST) Friday 3 May.
The delay is due to some final range preparations.

LAUNCH UPDATE
At 2:18 pm (ACST) Southern Launch and TiSPACE countdown was halted just before lift-off, stopping the launch sequence. During the final steps prior to lift-off, one of the systems did not come online. As per safety protocols, the rocket was put into a safe state.

Christmas has come early with the commissioning of our Mid-Range Launcher reaching the final stages!
