Today the House Democrats pushed through an assault weapons ban bill, which would take away nearly 85% of all firearms in the state.
Further, the Dems limited debate to 5 hours and rejected all of my amendments! The bill is the most egregious assault on our 2d Amendment Rights!

It was defeated b/c Coloradans hate complex ballot measures and historically reject the more nuanced measures. It made it easy for me to campaign against, but a ballot measure had to be clear and simple. HH was neither, nor was it helping, it actually hurt renters and owners.

Thankful for a Guardian Angel, as a bolting horse crashed through the windshield at a full gallup, as we were driving 20 mph on a farm road, checking out the farm country of northern Holland. Aside from minor cuts & shock, I’m ok. Car is totaled. We are praying for the horse.

Our bill to require licensure of funeral home professionals just passed House Finance Committee on a vote of 9-1. Colorado is currently the only state that doesn’t license funeral home professionals and as a result we have seen the most horrific cases in the nation!
