@samanthacp_ The same can be said for people in Detroit and Port Huron Michigan. People there will drive down into Ohio, thru Pennsylvania, into NY to see Niagara Falls - as opposed to taking the bridge to Windsor or Sarnia and saving however many hours - because it’s a foreign country.

@samanthacp_ There’s a huge gap here - a lack of awareness of the world outside the US and no desire to close that gap. Growing up in Michigan, I was and still am surprised at the number of people who never crossed a bridge or tunnel to Ontario.
